Real values of Datuk

Good Morning and Salam Sejahtera

Shah Rukh Khan has been conferred Datuk my Malacca State Government (looking at Rustam). Now, all of us must address SRK as Yang Berhormat or whatsoever (I couldn’t care less about honouring these people). Only those who really deserve such a title I adhere to. Datuk for SRK? Please… Who is he to receive such a title. Let me quote the saying of Malaysia’s Former Prime Minister, he once said “Personally, I feel if you want to give value to anything, it must be limited…if you produce a million Ferrari cars, nobody will care about buying a Ferrari.

This is what the Sir Rustam said:

  1. He has also starred in many top Hindi movies filmed on location in Malaysia, which has helped promote the country as a tourist destination.
  2. This is one of the main reasons he was conferred this honour.
  3. This resulted in many people visiting Malacca. The award was given in recognition of this.

Plain and Simple. A brilliant explanation by Sir Rustam. But hey Sir Rustam, The Mobs (ain’t Gangster as translated by ASTRO in Gladiators, bodoh punya ASTRO) have spoken. Most of them do not agree with you. Awarding Datuk to an outsider is not a brilliant move. Why don’t you award Datuk to Shivaji Rao (The Great Super Star Rajinikanth, this one I love and will always love) too? I do believe, well most Malaysians would prefer Rajinikanth then SRK.

In term of popular support, Rajinikanth is much better than SRK. Come one, all Hindi movies are total lies. Not even one touches the real issues of men. Tamil movies, ridiculous they are, at least disclose and display some real issues.

As if there is no qualified Malaysian actors, actresses, singers, songwriters and artists. Well, it seems the Great Uncle Lim agrees with me. This is what he said, “Are there no Malaysian film stars, artists or sports-people who have greater (talent) to be honoured and encouraged as compared to Shah Rukh?

What is happening to my country? Where is the real value of Malaysia’s Knighthood now? This is a mockery to Malaysia’s Knighthood holders. All Datuk should bear the name proudly. With the admission of SRK, lol. Will the rest of the Datuks feel happy. I don’t know you tell me!!!

What a circus!!!

Shaira : Dearie, we were not jealous at all with those knighthood. The problem is, to whom it was given. Such title should be given only to those who deserve it really.

    Tuan,
