What do you use to run World of Warcraft? Is it run on Windows, Mac or perhaps Linux or maybe FreeBSD? Well, there are many ways to play World of Warcraft. Some even play WoW on their iPhone [check out]. That’s real WoW addict, lol. I believe it is no fun at all.
As for me, I use Wine to play World of Warcraft. Oh sorry, Wine is a program that allows Linux user to play or run Windows Program on Linux. It acts just like Emulator but Wine is not an Emulator. The name itself is a recursive acronym of “Wine Is Not an Emulator”. It is a compatibility layer for running Windows programs on Linux. How cool is that? Very Cool!!!
In the old days, it was difficult to run WoW with Wine. As the program matures, and more programmers take part in enhancing and fixing Wine, today Wine can run WoW flawlessly. WoW with Linux is better than Windows in term of speed and graphic. Seriously, make your switch to Linux, Ubuntu of course.

New Server

Loktaramish is back with new and better server. Previously, I hosted this site in my old office. Haha, can’t do that now as am no longer working there. Currently, this site is hosted by DataKL Solutions Sdn Bhd. So far so good and the response for my ticket is excellent. We will see how thing goes in the future.
I was searching for the cheapest and reliable host for quite sometime. For RM130 a year, I have all I need some that I do not need, haha. Tell you, went searching for web host yesterday, and some of them offer me with ridiculous deal. RM300 for 10G and limited server function with no SEO? That’s a rip off. Then I move on to next provider, RM100 but not accepting payment through credit card or pay pal? I have to pass. Then I came across with this. Good deal huh?
When searching for a web-host always look into the details. Some might offer very cheap with less function. Some might even offer too expensive with too many functions. All in all, it is up to you to choose.
